Climax & happy ending :)

I went to several colleges as physics tutor, such as Barnard college and Royal Victoria college.
Finding radioactive is probably the best achievement I have ever done.
But in my mind, spreading my knowledge to my students is more important to me. I feel pleasant that someone will become better because of my teaching. Just like Mr. Rutherford, I hope I can try my best to be the guidance of these students. I spent all of my time before I retired in tutoring, and I really enjoyed those years.
At 1907, I got marry with Frank Pitcher<3
I decided to go back to Montreal, spending the rest of my life in Montreal, which is where I'm living now.
I think my life is pretty complete:)
My husband loves me,
my children love me,
my love of science never die,
and
I have people like you who's reading my blog and supporting me!
I'm a pleasant woman and I love my life!!!

Experiments!!!!!

During times, I began to do some experiments to determine the nature of the radioactive emissions from thorium. These experiments actually builds up the foundation of nuclear science!!!
The best harvest was that I became one of the person to find the element : radon
and I started the research of its atomic mass....

Moreover, I discovered the recoil of a radioactive atom!!!!
This gave me more confident on my career of physicist. But I realized, in terms to become better, I need  a partner to learn from and have some discussions with me.
That's why I went to Paris and worked with Marie Curie, I feel really really proud and unbelievable that I can worked with three Nobel Prize laureates: Thomson, Rutherford and Marie :)))
They helped me a lot and made my life more meaningful!

1898!! I graduated from McGill university!!!

During the four years I spent in McGill, although there were some disapproval of female education right. I still complete the study in university and graduated with a Master’s degree in Electromagnetism. 

I'm not trying to show off but i AM the first Canadian women to reach this level of academic achievement. Not because i'm super smart or talented. It's because of my passion and enthusiasm of what i'm doing. 

Anyways, after college, I decided to work with J.J. Thomson at the famed Cavendish Laboratory in Cambridge England. That was a really great chance to for me to get deeper into nuclear physics. 

Throwing back to my past, I realized that every decisions i make in my life, whether it is good or not, will eventually play an important role in my life experience.

I studied in McGill university and graduated with Mathematics and Natural Philosophy.
My teacher, Mr. Ernest. Rutherford, is the most honourable person in my life who led me through difficulties and failures. He is known as the Father of nuclear physics.He proves that radioactivity involved the transmutation of one chemical element to another, and also differentiated and named alpha and beta radiation. I always dream to be like a person like him. 

I never give up.

During the years i spent in the university, with the guide of Mr.Rutherford, I began to what I want to do   in the future and how i will accomplish it. Without the years in the university, I will never discover who I am and you probably won't get a chance to see me on the news paper today.
